El Moebius

 Este es el modelo Moebius que muestra el encadenamiento lógico de lo que les conté en el post del 6 de julio, pero que hoy se los quiero explicar un poco mejor.
Déjenme que les cite algo de lo que aparece en Wikipedia sobre la función de Moebius que es el fenómeno matemático y topológico en el que me inspiré para representar el Modelo Moebius en nuestra práctica de consultorÃa, de docencia y de investigación.
Primero les voy a presentar a Don Augusto:

August MöbiusAugust Ferdinand Möbius (17 de noviembre de 1790, Schulpforta, Sajonia, Alemania - 26 de septiembre de 1868, Leipzig) fue un matemático alemán y astrónomo teórico. Es muy conocido por su descubrimiento de la banda de Möbius, una superficie de dos dimensiones no orientable con solamente un lado cuando está sumergido en el espacio euclidiano tridimensional. Fue descubierta independientemente por Johann Benedict Listing casi al mismo tiempo. Möbius fue el primero en introducir las coordenadas homogéneas en geometrÃa proyectiva. La transformación de Möbius, importante en geometrÃa proyectiva, no debe ser confundida con la transformación de Möbius de la teorÃa de números, que también lleva su nombre. Se interesó también por la teorÃa de números, y la importante función aritmética de Möbius μ(n) y la fórmula de inversión de Möbius se nombran asà por él. Era descendiente de MartÃn Lutero.
La banda de Moebius o cinta de Moebius es una superficie con una sola cara y un solo borde, o componente de contorno. Tiene la propiedad matemática de ser un objeto no orientable. También es una superficie reglada.
La banda de Moebius tiene las siguientes propiedades.
Tiene sólo una cara:
si se colorea la superficie de una cinta de Moebius, comenzando por la “aparentemente” cara exterior, al final queda coloreada toda la cinta, por tanto, sólo tiene una cara y no tiene sentido hablar de cara interior y cara exterior.
Tiene sólo un borde:
lo que se puede comprobar siguiendo el borde con un dedo, notando que se alcanza el punto de partida habiendo recorrido “ambos bordes”, por tanto, sólo tiene un borde.
Esta superficie no es orientable:
Una persona que se desliza tumbada sobre una banda de Moebius, mirando hacia la derecha, al dar una vuelta completa aparecerá mirando hacia la izquierda. Si se parte con una pareja de ejes perpendiculares orientados, al desplazarse paralelamente a lo largo de la cinta, se llegará al punto de partida con la orientación invertida.
Otras propiedades:
Si se corta una cinta de Moebius a lo largo, a diferencia de una cinta normal, no se obtienen dos bandas, sino que se obtiene una banda más larga pero con dos giros. Si a ésta banda se la vuelve a cortar a lo largo, se obtienen otras dos bandas entrelazadas pero con vueltas. A medida que se van cortando a lo largo de cada una, se siguen obteniendo más bandas entrelazadas.
Análoga a la banda de Moebius es la botella de Klein, pues también tiene sólo una superficie, donde no se puede diferenciar “fuera” de “dentro”.
En muchas ocasiones se emplea el ejemplo de la Banda de Moebius para significar que un suceso en una dirección determinada puede provocar otro suceso en la dirección exactamente opuesta a la anterior. Uno de los ejemplos más citados es el de los efectos no deseados producidos por los más perfectos sistemas carcelarios. Y lo mismo sucede con el análisis del tránsito vehicular.
Nuestro modelo Moebius está representado en la figura que encabeza este artÃculo, pero, como les dije, está ampliado en el artÃculo (post) del 6/7 pasado en el que están explicados los siete conceptos y la vinculación entre ellos.
           
     
En esta nota me quiero referir a un tema extremadamente importante en la aplicación de nuestro Moebius en nuestro trabajo en las organizaciones.
Si nos concentramos en el nodo de Estrategia Competitiva en Moebius, lo que se espera de los dos nodos anteriores que alimentan a este, Pragmática de la Comunicación Avanzada y Gestión del Conocimiento, y del nodo posterior, Sistema Integral de Innovación, para desarrollar toda esta parte del Moebius, lo que se requiere es hacer máximo el PENSAMIENTO DIVERGENTE.
El proceso de comunicación debe ser tal que, aprovechando al máximo la dispersión cognitiva, los diferentes mapas mentales de quienes están involucrados en ese proceso de comunicación avanzada, se logre captar la mayor cantidad posible de señales esparcidas en el escenario externo. De esto dependerá la calidad de la formulación de la Estrategia.
Pensamiento Divergente es abrir la mente a todas las opciones posibles. Tratar de no reducir la complejidad. Pensar en la parte ancha del embudo. Sin embargo, cuando nos concentramos en el nodo Alineamiento Estratégico Organizacional, estamos requiriendo todo lo contrario. Buscamos PENSAMIENTO CONVERGENTE. Reducir las opciones privilegiando entre ellas las que elijamos como mejores. Buscando que el nodo del Liderazgo Transformacional Proliferado logre la máxima cohesión posible reduciendo la dispersión cognitiva que en las fases anteriores habÃamos privilegiado.
No quiero con esto significar que estamos buscando que todo el mundo piense igual, porque si todos piensan igual quiere decir que nadie está pensando. Lo que si buscamos es cohesión que asegure la acción efectiva. De esta forma el nodo de Potenciación del Desempeño se focaliza en potenciar aquellos puntos crÃticos considerados prioritarios. Asà volvemos al nodo de la Comunicación que se transforma en la clave hacia la apertura de todas las puertas y ventanas que requiere el Pensamiento Divergente. Y entonces nos damos cuenta porqué el nodo de la Comunicación es el centro del Moebius.
Comunicándonos a través de preguntas poderosas y de conversaciones trascendentes, nada menos switcheamos entre los dos modelos mentales colectivos. El Divergente que requiere la formulación de la estrategia y el Convergente que requiere la implementación. Nuestro trabajo es ayudar al grupo a incorporar este modelo para que lo internalice potenciando la inteligencia colectiva a tal punto que llegue un momento que ya no nos necesite más. Asà se mide nuestro éxito.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
